Teddy Goes to Town
Hey kiddo, do you need help?
A picture book story about dogs travelling on the underground
Dogs like Flea and his mum live all over the big city. The little one lives in a building pit on the outskirts of the city and has been waiting a long time for the day when his mum takes him with her on her forays.
The day finally arrives and the two of them do what everyone else does: they get on the underground. As soon as they get off, everything happens too quickly for Flea, the door closes in his face and his mum has disappeared. But he already learns the most important lesson: the city is dangerous, but he’s not alone!
The search for Flea’s mum continues over escalators, through underground canals and across backyards, and the troop of four-legged helpers grows ever larger… An exciting, vividly illustrated story about friendship, solidarity – and big city dogs.
