Roger Olmos was born in 1975. He studied children’s illustration at the Llotja Avinyó school of arts and crafts in Barcelona. As an illustrator he has worked for publishers, press, advertising and television. He has published more than forty books, translated into numerous languages. He has won numerous awards, including the Lazarillo Prize in 2008; the White Ravens selection in 2002, 2004 and 2006; the Llibreter Prize for illustrated albums in 2006, and the Spanish Ministry of Culture Prize for the best published album, children’s and young people’s category, 2014 and 2015.
