The very funny picture book THE SELFIE by Joaquín Camp & Pilar Serrano has been highlighted as a ‚recommendation‘ as part of the Premio Fundación Cuatrogatos. The jury selected 100 books out of a total of 1203 entries. 
This is a hilarious rendition of a beaver wanting to take the perfect selfie – whilst trying to squeeze in all the other animals that turn up for the impromptu photo shoot. With every newcomer (rabbits, raccoon, bear etc.) the animals need to readjust to fit into the photo and there’s always something going wrong. It is getting late and dark and both the beaver‘s patience and mobile phone battery are wearing a little thin …. Will he have the perfect selfie at the end of the day?
