Katrin Stangl, born in 1977, studied at the Leipzig School of Graphics and Book Art. She uses different techniques to illustrate her own and other authors’ texts. She has been a member of the artist group SPRING since 2009. She teaches drawing at the FH Aachen and gives workshops in Germany and abroad. Her works have received several awards, including with the “Prize of the Book Art Foundation” and the “Hans Meid Sponsorship Prize”. Katrin Stangl lives with her family in Cologne.
