Jörg Mühle was born in 1973 in Frankfurt am Main and studied at the Offenbach School of Design and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He has been a freelance illustrator since 2000. In 2008 he won the Children’s Literature Award with At the Ark at Eight.
He is a member of the‘Labor Ateliergemeinschaft’ (a studio collective of eight graphic designers, illustrators and authors in Frankfurt/Main, Germany), has a daughter and lives near Moritz Verlag.
Jörg works as a freelance illustrator for book publishers, magazines and newspapers.
