Jens Rassmus, born in Kiel in 1967, studied illustration in Hamburg and Dundee, Scotland. He has been illustrating and writing children’s books for many years, for which he has received numerous awards, including the Austrian Children’s and Young People’s Book Prize three times and a nomination for the German Children’s Literature Award. Jens Rassmus lives with his family in Kiel.
