Eric Schwarz was born in Saarbrücken in 1996, where he also studied communication design, as well as graphic storytelling at the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. Since graduating, he has been working independently as an illustrator. He publishes his 4-panel webcomics or shorter series all by himself and online on Instagram, where over 25 000 people (and a few bots) follow his work. In 2022 he opened his first solo exhibition (I Will Never Be Sad Again) in a Paris gallery and in 2023 his first institutional solo exhibition will be presented at the Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken.
A Little Bit of Freedom is his first graphic novel.
