Katrin Dageför was born in 1966. Following her A-levels, she lived in Montreal for a year, then went to Krefeld to study Graphic Design. Once she had obtained her diploma, she looked for a job in Hamburg, where she worked as Art Director in various advertising agencies. After her parental leave she dedicated herself entirely to illustration work. To the Blue Sea and Back is her second children’s book.
