David Barrow received the Sebastian Walker award for most promising children’s illustrator from the Cambridge School of Art. His first book Have You Seen Elephant? was shortlisted for the Waterstones Prize and is a bestseller around the world.
He lives in England with his wife and son. David is a former printer, and when he found himself between jobs, he spent time at the pub drawing faces in the dark light. This training is evident in Have You Seen Elephant?
