Dream Days
Self-empowerment between time and dreams
The picture book Dream Days was created in collaboration with the young Belgian artist Clara Thomasset – an artistic and philosophical, yet wonderfully light and luminous story for children about time as an inner space and wealth and the great power of dreams.
Little Milla glides through the day and its fixed temporal sequences – getting up, breakfast with her mother, the way to school through the forest, lessons and breaks, and the afternoon with her grandmother. Although determined from the outside and timed, she remains completely in her own inner time and world: full of dreams, thoughts and intense perception of the things that surround her. Time as a part of self-empowerment. And dreams as a path to inner growth.
A wonderful book that allows children to immerse themselves in it immediately and allows adults to take a deep breath.

“The day, which only appears to drift by uneventfully, becomes a metaphor for childhood as a time, as precious as it is fragile, of dreaming and being at one with oneself, which the illustrator evokes with dreamy illustrations in ink and gouache.” – Bavarian Publishing Prize
