Marta Azcona was born in Oviedo one day in April last century. She graduated in Philology and moved to Madrid, where she began to work as an editor on various radio and television programmes. After more than two decades writing scripts for fiction series, she worked for five years at Televisa Internacional creating and developing formats.
She currently works as a project and script analyst in the Fiction Department of Mediaset España. She has published one book for adults and two for children: Don Batuta busca músicos para su orquesta (Mr Batuta is looking for musicians for his orchestra) and Un regalo diferente (A different kind of gift), the Basque edition of which won the JUUL prize awarded by the Federation of Ikastolas in 2023.
