Kristina Andres, born in Greifswald, grew up in Mecklenburg, where she now lives again. She initially studied art history and literature in Hamburg and then moved to the local University of Fine Arts there.
She has been working as a freelance artist since 2002. Her children’s books are published by numerous publishers.
